College city welcomes meetings and events with open arms

This Arizona city is becoming more attractive for meeting planners with the opening of new hotels. In the past few months, the city added more than 300 guest rooms and 8,000 square feet of meeting and event space.  An additional 17,000 square feet of meeting space and 400 guest rooms will come online between now and 2017, making the city an appealing option for small to medium sized meetings.

The 140-room hotel is located near bustling Mill Avenue, Tempe Town Lake and ASU’s Gammage Theater. The 1,800 square feet event space is well suited for social and business meetings, and can accommodate 90 guests for seated functions and 150 guests for reception-style events. The 2,150 square feet Tapacubo Rooftop offers a bright, open-air event space featuring views of A Mountain.
