The 750-room Loews Portofino Bay Hotel at Universal Orlando has completed a $22 million renovation. Guest rooms were completely refurbished with new furnishings and décor. The hotel also offers the world’s first and only Despicable Me-inspired hotel suites.
Loews Portofino Bay Hotel is a re-creation of the seaside village of Portofino, Italy. It was the first onsite hotel at Universal Orlando Resort. It features eight restaurants and lounges, three themed pools, the world-class full-service Mandara Spa, complimentary Wi-Fi, and on-site shopping at upscale shops, boutiques and art gallery. The hotel is pet-friendly, and offers theme park benefits.
