Tucson's transportation system will get you where you need to go. In the city, call SunTran, the public bus system, at (520) 792-9222 for route maps and schedules. In the downtown area, catch a free ride on T.I.C.E.T., the Tucson Inner City Express Transit. Of course, there are many major car rental agencies, charter services and taxi companies too.
To ensure that our interstate and surface streets continue to facilitate safe and quick travel, several construction projects are currently in process. Two of these initiatives are the widening of Interstate 10 and a downtown modification. To receive updated information on these projects, visit www.i10tucson.com and www.knowyourwaydowntown.info.
