Registered Safety Manager® The Safety Manager is responsible at a corporate level for ensuring the integrity of the company’s health and safety program, management of workers’ compensation claims, liability protection as is applicable by common law, and the judicial process regarding legal issues affecting occupational safety and health. In order to fulfill these responsibilities the Safety Manager must be competent in the management of subordinates and effectively communicate (both orally and in writing) to all levels of the workforce – employees to senior management.
