Have you ever watched the TV Show “Once Upon a Time?” Well, that is where Ben lives and works. The fishing village of Steveston, BC, just 30 minutes out of the downtown core of Vancouver is what Ben calls home. He walks to work, knows his neighbors and believes that there is a balance between life and work.
He is a husband, a father and a member of his community. He is a big believer that friends and family are paramount, and that we all have a responsibility to roll up our sleeves and help change our little part of the world.
He is a speaker and an author and his book Powerful Personal Brands: a user’s guide to understanding yours will be released June/July 2018.
He volunteers. Whether it be for his congregation, festivals in the area or through mentoring youth at the University level, he believes that he may not be able to change the world, but positively influence his corner of it.
His favorite trait is his curiosity. It helps him understand the world around him better and the people that he serve. Only by understanding others, their hopes, needs, aspirations, and fears, can he help devise solutions that will help make their lives better.
