Program Overview

It is often stated (very accurately, I may add) that Lean Construction is actually a journey, rather than a destination. We do not just “arrive” and become a Lean professional or organization overnight. In fact, there is no ‘finish line’ at all, however there are substantial rewards along the way! Join us as we look to do better tomorrow than we did today, while continuing to improve (Kaizen) in our understanding and skills within the ideology/methodology that is ‘Lean Production’.

In this lesson we will review a brief history of Lean Construction, beginning with the Toyota Production System. And then take a closer look at the steadfast values & principles that have helped define Lean Production within the construction industry. The same values that can aid each of us as we lead ourselves, our teams and our organizations to the next level. Regardless of our position or title within the organization.

-History of Lean Construction
-Helping to grow a Lean Culture within your project team
-5 Elements to Lean Production in your Company
-‘Lean Leadership’; ‘helping to influence your organization…..even if you’re not the boss’
