Cellular Agriculture is an evolving industrial biosciences discipline that leverages stem cell culture and tissue engineering for the production of 'clean meat' as an alternative to animal agriculture. A new segment of entrepreneurs is receiving backing from large investors, some of which are also big players in traditional agriculture. The panel will present examples for cultured meats and fish approaching commercialization and will discuss technical and regulatory hurdles to be overcome in order for this nascient industry to be successful.
