The growth and sustainability of the innovative biotechnology industry relies heavily on the ability of micro, small and medium-sized companies to attract investment. Given the global challenges on IP protection and the pricing system, the sustainability of this innovation model is threatened. This panel will focus on how these challenges impact the ability of the industry to innovate new products as well as the compatibility of this business model with the needs of global health agencies.
