Hosted by BioGrammatics and Research Corporation Technologies
and focused on recombinant protein expression with the yeast
Pichia pastoris (Komagataella)

As a virtual conference, Pichia 2021, will be different than any previous Pichia conference, with both advantages and challenges to support the Pichia community. We are excited to interact with you and other “ Pichia people” virtually, but also hope to see you "in person", asap (perhaps Pichia 2022 - Asilomar - California).

The opening sessions are full, however, abstracts are still accepted for subsequent sessions and posters.

The virtual conference will start with March 24, 25 and 26, 2021, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. GMT, and subsequent sessions will be added depending on the number of abstracts received and interest in subsequent sessions.

Individual presentations are ideally 20 to 30 minutes. Presentations can be livestreamed or pre-recorded, or a combination of both. Preference will be given to presenters who can attend their presentation with some live presence. For example, an introduction and answering questions at the end of the presentation.

Most any presentation on research and scientific applications of Pichia pastoris will be considered, including presentations on:

1) general biology,
2) process development/fermentation,
3) "Omic" characterization (e.g. genome, transcriptome, proteome).
4) applications, trouble shooting and success stories.
5) biocatalysts.

Instructions will be provided on presentation format options for your "talk" or "poster" once selected for the program. We will try to be as flexible as possible. More than one submission per person is welcome. There is no limit to the number of posters; most any scientific presentation will be accepted.

- Submission Deadline: Opening session closed. Abstract submission for posters and subsequent sessions is still open; abstracts submitted after March 10th are not guaranteed to be available for the opening sessions.

- Review period: Ongoing

- Program Announced: February 20, 2021
