Raising capital is one of the most daunting aspects of startup life. The process is lengthy, rigorous, and keeps even the most seasoned entrepreneurs on their toes. The due diligence process can be complex, but is immensely important in order for investors to feel comfortable when they write the check.
The Arizona Commerce Authority (ACA) is pleased to announce our Money Week Teaser: The Due Diligence Workshop. Join us at The Department in Downtown Phoenix on March 23 at 8:00 am to get the skinny on the tips, tricks, and nuances of successfully navigating the due diligence process. Keynote speaker Srinivasan Chandrasekharan of Overclockd, LLC, a research and advisory firm from Tucson that has worked with many angel investors in Arizona, will spend 90 minutes educating entrepreneurs about what they can expect in the process.
Then, stay for a very revealing conversation with three well-known winners of the Arizona Innovation Challenge as they talk about receiving $250,000 from the ACA and leveraging those funds to raise millions of dollars more from Arizona investors. In the hot seat will be Gregg Scoresby, Founder and CEO of CampusLogic; Aly Saxe, Co-Founder and CEO of Iris PR Software; and Adeel Yang, Co-Founder and President of Picmonic.
